The Hayek integrates oscillation, ventilation, HFCWO and assisted cough in a single, versatile device. Using a non-invasive cuirass shell, the Hayek provides an effective method of non-invasive external oscillation and ventilation. It can be an alternative to traditional forms of ventilation, HFCWO vest style devices, and cough options.
How Does The Hayek Work?
The Hayek simplifies care for patients at home by combining proven therapies in a single device. No more uncomfortable masks. No tracheostomy. No more discomfort, squeezing or possible atelectasis caused by chest/vest wrap style devices.
Oscillation and Ventilation: The Hayek is intended for external oscillation and ventilation of the lungs.
Continuous Negative
Provides support for inhalation, and allows patients to control exhalation, while using a continuous negative pressure to assist in keeping airways open.
Control
Controls both inspiratory and expiratory phases while providing full control for rate and breath timing of supported breaths.
Control Synchronized
